Welcome to the wikisite of Corpus Lexicography!

This is a wiki site for the Corpus-based Lexicography project. This wiki is an online collaboration tool for the contributors to share each other's ideas and/or commence working on entries and allow others to comment and edit them.

Headwords are on separate pages each, and pages are alphabetically filed in folders; the set of previously selected sample sentences from the concordance are included in each headword.

To view headwords, you can either manually look for your desired word by opening the Folder containing such word (in the sidebar), or you can use the search function which will automatically suggest words to you as you type. When in the page, you can choose to expand your page by clicking on the arrow icon located at the top-right of a page (aligned with the View and Edit modes). It hides the sidebar so you can view the concordance properly.

To edit or start working on a headword, click the Edit button on top of the page (you must be logged-in to access the edit mode), and start typing by using the editor or by pasting your work. REMEMBER to work on the area above the concordance, and if there is still no boundary line between that area and the concordance, please create one by clicking the "Insert Horizontal Line" icon on the toolbar.
